Frieling-
Verlag – Poetry Contest 2025
Almost
a constant guest every year and it is always an exciting event again!
What placement will I probably achieve this year? Even
if not in the top three, but a good position with the other 192
authors out of a total of 652 participants is a success, my success,
which is worth reporting on.
You
can also enjoy it, because this book is available in your well-known
bookstore and in the Frieling-Verlag online-bookshop under the title
«Wo der Wind die Seele trägt» - with a cover image that really
underlines this theme.
Leipziger
Book Fair – took place from 27 – 30 March 2025
This
fair is known to many people interested in reading as the spring fair
and this year there is another feature added. The Leipzig Book Fair
was able to close its doors with a record number of visitors and is
aiming for more in the future.
I
am so proud and at the same time happy to have been there from the
first day of the Book Fair. My stand service, which I do every
Saturday at the Frieling stand, the publisher I trust and prefer, was
a complete success. I
was able to maintain direct contact with viisitors and interested
readers. Of the books presented at the stand, only
a single copy remained – such a success is purely motivating and
open s up the joy of seeing you again in 2026.
Frankfurt Book Fair from 15 – 19 October 2025 – the World largest book fair with Philippines as guest honor and with the new publication «Trüber Blick durch rosarotes Glas» from my hand!
As
an author, I will once again walk through the Frankfurt book fair on
the trade visitors days and on Saturday,18 October 2025 in Hall 3.1 I
will not only enrich my publisher’s stand number H61 with my
presence, but also organize a book signing at 11 a.m. for my readers
and those who would like to become readers with all of my books, but
especially with my new book „Trüber Blick durch rosarotes Glas“.

Unfortunately,
this book presentation couldn’t take place in 2025, but as the
saying goes: „You have to think ahead“ and so I am planning
another reading event at this place – maybe this year!
Senior
residence Margaretenhöhe, Bergisch-Gladbach
On
21 June 2025, I was able to read two stories from my book „Samstags
war Badetag“ again at the community singing that takes place every
14 days.
So
much enthusiasm engages me and so the next reading is already fixed
to take place on 25 October 2025 – depending on the season I will
read two stories from my book „Beim Ein(topf) bleibt es nicht“ –
I can hardly wait to be back again in Bergisch-Gladbach and bring my
texts closer to the people in the residence there.

As
already described above, I have the pleasure of presenting my latest
book „Trüber Blick durch rosarotes Glas“ at the Frankfurt Book
Fair 2025.
At
the same time, I am also trying to get bookstores and clubs in the
towns near where I live to get excited about this work. I am open to
suggestions and appointments – and would like to thank my readers
for their interest.
