Now
the calendar spring is already more than a month old and we are a
little too far away from the corresponding spring-like feelings.
But
even the different varieties of the weather conditions may support us
something good during the time being; they offer us a wide range of
possibilities for literature.
Let
them put us all in the right mood and welcome the funny spring month
May with sunshine and spring feeling temperature.
Frieling-
Verlag – Poetry Contest 2024
As
in the years before, I have given my best within the poetry contest
2024 to reach one of the first places. This hasn’t been the case,
but my poetry has been noticed for being under the best 222
participants of total 731 – isn’t this a very great success?!
My
poetry will be publshed with my colleagues within an extraordinary
book under the title „Du siehst mich nicht“ coming on the market
probably mid of July 2024. I am proud of being also an author in this
book and if you wish to participate the happiness with me – you can
purchase this book in the online-bookshop of my publisher,
Frileing-Verlag, Berlin, and also in the book trade.

Leipziger Book Fair – took place from 21 - 24 March 2024
This
year the Leipzig book fair opened the entries as in the years before
Corona – in March 2024. It
has been a great atmosphere on the different places on the fair as
well as in the city. A
little bonus, the weather god was in good mooth with us for many
hours.
On
23 March, 2024 I have been proud to be present at the exhibition
stand of Frieling-Verlag in hall 2, stand E301 with my book „Beim
(Ein)topf bleibt es nicht“ with the former three books I pushlshed
since 2010.Therefore some of the visitors have been interested also
for my travel experiences in „KIA ORA, Neuseeland“

Frankfurt
Book Fair from 16 until 20 Octover 2024 –
the
World biggest book fair with Italy as guest country
With
Italy as guest country, the book fair will offer a southern ambiance
which should be discovered.
I
will be there on the professional book fair days as well as on the
viistors week-end and especially on Saturday, 19 October at the stand
of Frieling-Verlag, Berlin.
Where
and what I may present you, will be decided in the forthcoming months
and I will inform you on my website as well as social media pages.

presentations
25.
April 2024 – Two presentations of my books at Büchenbeuren
(Hunsrück)
How
nice it is to be again on the place, where I had presented my books
in November last year and to read again stories which are fitting the
season.
In
the afternoon I will be at Café Spurensuche in Büchenbeuren, where
I read a choice of stories out of my book „Samstags war Badeag“
to the aged persons coming there regularly. This may enjoy all
listeners as well as guests.
On
19.30 h I will present stories out of my book „Beim (Ein)topf
bleibt es nicht“ in the Ev. Gemeindehaus of Büchenbeuren, a choice
which are in line with the spring month May. Every interested person
and reader are welcomed to this event.

May 2024 – Senior residence Margaretenhöhe, Bergisch-Gladbach
At
the traditional singing afternoon at the senior residence
Margaretenhöhe which takes place every two weeks, I am happy to
present also two short-stories from my book „Beim (Ein)topf bleibt
es nicht“at that afternoon.

May 2024 – in Traben-Trarbach, Event in the afternoon for aged
persons in the Heinrich-Held-Heim
Within
the traditional aged person afternoon I have got an invitation to
present short stories out of my book „Beim (Ein)topf bleibt es
nicht“, a selection which suit the seasonal period.
I
am looking forward to the audience’s reaction and comments.
